About Us


ONLY RESIDENTS OF THE 18 PARTICIPATING COMMUNITIES ARE ELIGIBLE TO REGISTER.
Those communities are:  ALLEN PARK, ECORSE, BROWNSTOWN, FLAT ROCK, GIBRALTAR, GROSSE ILE, HURON TOWNSHIP, LINCOLN PARK, MELVINDALE, RIVER ROUGE, RIVERVIEW, ROCKWOODK, ROMULUS, SOUGHGATE, TAYLOR, TRENTON, WOODHAVEN and WYANDOTTE.

The City of Trenton is hosting this years Event. Dates are from July 31 to August 4th. The Unity Banquet on Aug. 4th will be held at the Flat Rock Community Center (Stone Creek Hall).
Most equipment is provide for each event.  Tennis players must bring their own racquet and balls. Golfers must bring their own clubs and balls, Bowlers may bring their own ball or Cue stick in Billiards.

The Chili cookers will have to bring their product in the crock pot they cooked it in. They must also bring the list of ingredients! This new event will go along with the Car Show on Tuesday evening. All extra chili will be sold to the audience. Music and fun will be along with the Car Show. 
AGE DIVISIONS
The age divisions are as follows:
"A"  50 - 59 years
"B" 60 - 69 years
"C" 70 - 79 years
"D"  80 - 84 years
"E" 85 years and Older
All rules are provided in the Rule book, that each registered participant receives.  The Downriver Senor Olympic Committee has update the rules and provided each participant with the most complete rules for their game.  Any questions about those rules may be directed to your Senior Coordinator prior to the games.
There may be changes to the Rule book as well as additions.  Please check the attached PDF message for those updates to your event and print them for your records and information.
